Rustic + Modern Baths

It's not even been a month yet since our house was published (@here) and already I'm ready to move and start over again! I might be able to convince my husband to go along with my crazy plans if it weren't for the fact that our baby girl is due to arrive in less than two months now.

I think realistically we'll wait another year or so to pull the trigger on our new digs, but until then a girl can dream, right?

We were fortunate to be able to gut all the bathrooms in our current house, and when rebuilding them, I tried to stay pretty clean and classically refined- subway and penny tile, pedestal sinks, industrial sort of lighting; simple and easy, universally appealing.

I have a vision of a rustic modern master bathroom for the next house...

Think warm brass fixtures with reclaimed wood cabinets, floating sinks and frameless mirrors, reclaimed iron paned shower doors, modern carerra herringbone floors with worn kilim rugs...the perfect mix...! What do you think, too masculine? Maybe I'd throw some soft pink walls in there and call it a day.
