Kim Childs began her career in design after years of working in advertising and merchandising in New York and San Francisco. With an undergraduate degree in Art History and Studio Art, and a graduate degree in Brand Management, she started a blog and a small online shop to share her signature aesthetic mix, and KCD was born. Kim works with clients in and around her hometown of Richmond, Virginia and across the country.
Kim’s aesthetic is rooted in an enduring love for reimagined vintage pieces mixed with the unexpected. She creates spaces that feel collected and cool, while at the same time functional and refreshingly one of a kind.
